COVID-19 CANCELLATION POLICY
Boston Sightseeing Tours has implemented a Force Majeure policy, due to the Coronavirus scare, for all travelers. We understand that your concerns are stretching around the globe right now, therefore effective immediately, you can receive a full refund on any tour you book then choose to cancel due to the Coronavirus. You can book your tour with confidence, knowing that if the global situation changes and you choose not to travel because of this force majeure situation, you will receive a full refund. This new cancellation policy will be in place until July 31, 2020, at which point we’ll re-assess the travel situation.
Why are we doing this? While we are hopeful that the current outbreak will be contained, we want your trip planning experience to be an exciting one, not one fraught with anxiety.
All of our tours are private which means that you will not be travelling with other people that are not part of your group. This has always been the case and as such this limits the interaction with others so you can feel comfortable booking a tour with us this season.
If you have any questions about this policy, or about booking tours with us please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
COVID-19 ON-TOUR PRECAUTIONS
We’re hard at work behind the scenes with a focus on maintaining high standards of safety on our tours. Boston Sightseeing Tours will do everything in our power to ensure a safe journey for our guests and guides. Some of the precautions that we will be implementing include:
Limit private group size to 10 people or less for walking tours and 5 people for less for riding tours while avoiding close contact with others by maintaining a distance of at least 6 feet, whenever possible.
Masks must be worn at all times during the tour - This is not optional.
Avoiding large crowds and busy sidewalks which may mean taking alternate walking routes.
Coach bus passengers are asked to avoid standing or sitting within 6 feet of the bus driver and tour guide.
We will be sure to do routine cleaning and disinfection of frequently touched surfaces, and make sure our bus company partners do the same.
We will provide an alcohol-based hand sanitizer containing at least 60% alcohol for your use as well as disinfecting wipes.
